…Urges public to disregard Social Media fluke

The Labour Party, LP in Imo State has debunked recent fake news making rounds in the social media that Barr.Libo Agwara who donated a Secretariat to the Party is a brother to Imo state Governor,Sen.Hope Uzodinma. The party has called on the public to disregard the said tissue of lies and fake news.
The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Obidinma Aku made this known yesterday,while addressing Journalists on the matter at the party Secretariat in Owerri.
He informed that the fake news may have emanated from a social media by one Comedian, MC Flexy De Aproko
“Mc Flexy De Aproko King is likely to have made the skit in good faith to encourage support for our Presidential Candidate ,Mr.Peter Obi, but how he got the wrong information that the donor of our secretariat is related to Governor Hope Uzodinma cannot be understood”, he stated.
Comrade Obidinma used the occasion to make it clear that Barr.Libo Agwara has no biological relationship with the Imo state Governor ,even as he urged the entire public to disregard the rumour.
“Our Party has therefore decided to use this medium to correct the false information, to ensure the public is not deceived and we unequivocally state that Barr.Dr.Libo Agwara has no relationship of any sort with Governor Hope Uzodinma as he hails from Ngor Okpala LGA ,while the later is from Oru East LGA.
Moreso Dr.Libo has never met or talked with the Governor in his life and feels embarrassed by the said fake news”
The Party’s scribe urged the supporters of the party not to be distracted from such fake news as the party is focused on liberating the country from bad politicians.
Speaking,Barr.Libo made it clear that he has never set his eyes on Governor Uzodinma except on the Television and has nothing to do with him as an individual.
He wondered why such news should emnate in the first place, explaining that many people have called him about the fluke.
Barr.Libo further said that he has been following Peter Obi when he was the Governor of Anambara State and loved his style of administration, hence the donation of the office to demonstrate his support for him towards achieving Victory in the 2023 Presidential race.
Responding to questions about his political ambition, he said that it is quite early to talk about that, adding that the major task at hand is to deliver Peter Obi as President first before any other thing.
